As many of you know, I participated in a WordPress Blog Challenge that was hosted by Swift Expression. The challenge was quite a task and unlike many other “Blog Challenges” out there this one is not something you win and pass on to another like a chain letter. It is based solely on the writer’s entry and the readers responses to it. A donation from Swift Expression will be given to a charity of the winners choice.
Today voting begins (you can cast your vote up until Dec. 29th, 2012) and of course I would like to win. I put a lot of effort into this challenge and was very surprised with the unforeseen journey it took me on. Please take a moment and look it all over and then vote for Cheri Speak HERE. Of course, if there are other entries you find more worthy vote for them instead.
I had to write five (5) different pieces based on categories that were laid out in the challenge. Here are the links to my entries:
Thank you for reading my Blog. Having readers is a privilege I do not take for granted. I would have no voice if it were not for all of you. If there is ever something you would like me to write about I am always open to my readers suggestions. Also, in building our community here I am always grateful for your liberal use of the “share” buttons below each of my stories or articles. Again thank you!!
UPDATE: Winner! Thank you all for voting, but most of all for reading!!
My donation is going to Brain and Behavior Research Foundation for Bi-polar:https://www.bbrfoundation.org/civicrm/contribute/transact?reset=1&id=1?reset=1&id=1&reset=1&id=1

This is a really great post, Cheri! Very user-friendly by compiling all your entries, so it’s easy for your readers to find them. Plus I love the adorable penguin! 🙂
I hope all your followers, (and anyone else who reads your blog), votes for you, not just out of loyalty, but because your answers really are excellent. Good luck! 🙂

Thank you very much! I didn’t want to arbitrarily ask people to vote for me. I wanted them to be sure they knew what they were voting on as well as tell them it was ok to vote for someone else instead.

Ah penguin! I LOVE. I voted for you my dear cause your visual tribute really resonated with me the most. So much thought and emotion behind it I barely even thought about it when i seen the poll. Now, reading this post I’m glad i did for your nice words and of course, the penguin. Can you guess what my favorite animal is? Lol.

hahahahaha a penguin? :p
Thank you VERY much for the vote! I liked this particular challenge by Swift because it is an “earned’ award which would lead me to believe it is based on the merit of our contributions vs. just sending an award around from blog to blog. Thank you again. I am very grateful to you and all of my readers simply for…reading 🙂
