I knew it was coming, but I’ve been a little busy so it kind of snuck up on me all of a sudden.
Wow! It’s been a whole year since I started this little project. I started it a year ago yesterday on the 1st anniversary of my Mom’s death. Now, nearly 17,000 views and 100 posts (this is my 100th) later you and I are still here together. Thank you!
So the question begs, is it my blog’s 1st birthday or its one year anniversary? I vote birthday, I did give birth to the idea after all!
Drinks are on me. I wouldn’t be here if it were not for you. CHEERS!

As I enter Cheri Speak‘s 2nd year, what would you like to see more (or less) of? I’m taking requests! Also, I would LOVE to know what has been some of your favorites from me over the past year?
Congratulations on your 1 year anniversary.

Happy birthday. I really liked the post debunking the Sandy Hook rumors, but that’s because it was the post that brought me here. All of your blogging tip posts have been great reads too.
Now, what are those tasty looking drinks in the pictures?

Thank you very much Charles. I appreciate the feedback! What would you like to see more of?
The drinks? I dunno but they are PINK!!!

Tough question. I’ve always liked the quirky humor of your posts even when it’s a serious topic. The one that is coming to my mind is the “I Win, I Win, I Win!!!” post you recently did. I’ve always been interested in reading people’s opinions on social matters, trends, and human action.

What social matters in particular? I love writing about that stuff 🙂

I really don’t have anything specific in mind. I guess the best way to explain it is that my friends and I like to take various topics and philosophize about it. Violent nature in humans, the loss of face-to-face communication, generation gap issues, and anything that catches our curious attention. I’m probably not as much help as I hope here.

My favorite post of yours was the one on doctors trying to push prescription drugs on people for everything under the sun.

Awww thanks!!! Well the date is memorable because I started it on the 1st anniversary of my mom’s death, but yes WordPress gives you a notice.

Happy annibloggary! Engage to enrage is one of my faves, but I think local, international, and life’s events, will provide plenty to write about. I always look forward to seeing what subject you cover next, because there is always something worthwhile.

Thank you. I think the next “social” piece will be about the foods we eat 🙂

Happy blog anniversary! I love your personal pieces. Even if you post something political but with your opinion, I love those.
Everything you post is easy to engage with and easy to read but the marketing stuff sometimes i can tell your just posting to post something quick and easy. I do get stuff out of those, but i much rather each post have that fiery spirit. It’s why i heart you and would love to see more spirit in EACH post, even if that means LESS posts.

Thank you Tasha. I appreciate that. I should mention the “marketing” posts are not just for something to post. My blog gets combed by clients and editors. I use it for work purposes (to pick up writing gigs etc) and in doing so it allows me to write and post the other stuff too 🙂
