I love music more than any THING else in this world. I could live without most things, but music is not one of them, even if I have to make it myself.

Music is one of the biggest parts of my life; not only is it my constant companion, it is fun to play with as a writer. Last year I wrote a series where nearly every word or phrase is an actual song title with its appropriate YouTube link.

Having worked in broadcast radio for two decades I was easily burnt out on “air-play” songs and have always found the deeper cuts on most albums are just so much better. On a fluke one day I came across a band called Iron and Wine. I fell immediately in love. If you read my blog often and have gotten to know me then you know I love a lot of folkish type music. I wouldn’t call Iron and Wine “folk”, but it’s close. I love this band and listen to them almost every single day. When I’m out and about I also find myself humming their tunes. They are my daily Earworm and you should definitely check them out!
