In the past four weeks I have quite literally written and sold over 100 articles (in case you do not know, this is how I pay the bills). My eyes were about to pop out of my head, my forearms were rigid and aching from typing, and my back was killing me and I just needed to unplug.
So, in order to unwind and recharge I headed to the Oregon coast for the weekend for some much-needed R & R. It is so beautiful here in Oregon. My state has all four seasons and just about any type of geography you could want, but my favorite is always the woods and the rivers.
Here are a few images from my weekend to help soothe your soul. Breathe in…breathe out…Ommmmmm

As for the trip…some of these pics made me think of Legends of Windermere, especially the tree with the hollow etc 🙂

It definitely had a Windemere feel to it. I could see Luke wandering the area and disappearing for a few days. 🙂

Beautiful, peaceful settings you visited. What kind of articles do you write and where can we read them?

Hi Bev, thanks. Yes it was so peaceful and beautiful. Definitely was needed.
Besides maintaining and writing for my own blogs, and a couple of other online outlets (OpEdNews, HoneyColony, Bold & Spicy, etc) I ghostwrite for a company that I do several articles a day for. Those ones can be found all over the place, but without my byline.

Yes, I understand the ‘ghostwriting’ aspect well…I used to earn a living as a speechwriter…sometimes I got to sit in the audience and hear the speaker which I enjoyed…always anonymously of course. It was the writing process that I enjoyed as I’m sure you do as well.

Very much so. Every article is different; different topics, people, places. It allows me also to write here and other places while I am working on my book.
I would LOVE to be a speechwriter.

Those rocks across the surf reminded me of a lovely weekend I shared with a woman I met for the first and only time. We stood right there. It seemed like the time would never end. I wish we could go back and begin.
