Goodbye Colorado
I grew-up mostly in Colorado. My parents divorced before I was five and my Mom’s family was in Colorado so that was home to her after the divorce.
The “Rockies” were always in my back yard, and mountains anywhere else always seem like mole-hills in comparison.
I have been in Colorado for a couple of months now and it is time for me to move-on. I took a final visit to my beloved mountains to say “Goodbye Colorado”. Here are some photographs of my afternoon heading up above Morrison, into Evergreen, on to Echo Lake, Chicago Falls and more.

What a gorgeous place to be, Cheri! I especially liked the tree kneeling on the rock. Good luck with the relocation.

There is nothing like a huge expanse of mountains – both the Rockies and the Sierras. When I lived in Texas and Tennessee, they would talk about mountains and I always thought, you haven’t seen mountains until you’ve been on top of the Rockies or the Sierras. Beautiful pics!

Colorado was a wonderful memory, and these pics speak to that time in my life. I was in Colorado Springs working as a DJ on KYSN in the late 60s.
