BLOGGER CHALLENGE: A Week of Words

I am issuing a new “Blog Challenge” and sincerely hope everyone participates.

TIMELINE OF CHALLENGE:

Starts – Monday September 9th
Ends – Sunday September 15th, 2013 12 am PST

*This is a full week-long challenge beginning next week.

Here’s How It Works…

RULES:

Each daily post must be created specific to this challenge (no re-posts)
Each daily post must be original to you and not plagiarized (I run everything through copyscape)
Each post must include a link back to this post for verification to qualify
Each post needs to be date/time stamped for each specific day of the challenge (PST) and the challenge must be completed by midnight (PST) Sunday September 15, 2013.
You must complete a minimum of 5 of the 7 day’s posts

The Winners:

Semi-final winners will be judged on participation, creativity, timeliness and content
Semi-finalists will be announced on Monday September 16, 2013 here on Cheri Speak
A poll with a list of the finalists will be created and the winner(s) will be put to a vote
1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be announced Monday September 23, 2013

NOTE: If you are a semi-finalist, you will need to create a new post with a description of the contest and links to all 5-7 of your entries. This will be the post I will link to for voting.

TWO-FER TUESDAY

Tell us about the most amazing bargain or deal you have ever gotten. Did you have a killer coupon? Did you “Buy One Get One Free” (BOGO) or get it free altogether? Did you steal it or maybe inherent it? What is it?

Tell us all about it by creating an “ad” for it. This can be a written print ad or an image ad or both.

WHINY WEDNESDAY

If you have ever complained that no one was listening, today won’t be that day. In fact, we are all listening, so bring it on!

Tell us about your single most biggest bitch? What really ticks you off and why? Tell us all about it and include a Meme to nail your point home.

It didn’t have to happen on a Wednesday, but you need to post your story on Wednesday September 11, 2013 by midnight — and tag this post appropriately, in order to qualify.

THIRSTY THURSDAY

We are all thirsty to know more about something. What peeks your interest and makes you turn a page, click a link, Google a word or just plain want to learn?

Write it as you would an essay with a title and subheadings. Be sure to add “authority” links so we know what you are talking about.

It didn’t have to happen on a Thursday, but you need to post your story on Thursday September 12, 2013 by midnight — and tag this post appropriately, in order to qualify.

FREAKY FRIDAY

We all have a “ghost”, “UFO” or other freaky happening to tell people about. What is yours? Did something go bump in the night? Were you jinxed?

Tell us in the form of a campfire ghost story.

It didn’t have to happen on a Friday, but you need to post your story on Friday September 13, 2013 by midnight — and tag this post appropriately, in order to qualify.

SUCCESSFUL SATURDAY

We all have a measure of “success” under our belts. What’s yours? Toot your own horn and tell us in the form of a Press Release.
