I was approached several weeks ago by a reporter named Matt Stroud. He is a journalist for The Verge who was seeking more information about Michael C. Ruppert whom many of you know I wrote prolifically about after he took his life this past April. Matt Stroud has also written for The Nation and I was surprised and honored that he contacted me and was interested in my work.
We spoke on the phone for more than an hour and were in much contact afterwards throughout his process of writing the article while we both tried to suss out further information on a couple of twists and turns in Mike’s earlier life. It was fun from a journalistic stand-point and although the topic is still heavy in my heart, I very much appreciate the acknowledgement of my hard work.
Matt’s article went live and I would like to share it with you; not only because he quotes me and my work, but because it is a kick-ass piece deserved to be read by those who followed, admired or were otherwise aware of Mike Ruppert at some point in life’s journey.
After decades of struggle, the notorious doomsayer finally found fame and recognition. Then he shot himself.
