Are you listening?
The government and their corporate media hounds have given us a [not so] new Boogeyman to fear. ISIS or the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant/Syria is the newest villain designed to push us further down the tubes of mind slavery so that we will rally behind the President and his puppet-master’s plan for yet another war of aggression in the Middle East. And, just like in Afghanistan and Iraq, it will be another war built upon a strategy of deceit that riles the American people to again be freaked-out and fervently waving their Walmart bought Made-in-China American flags looking for an eye for an eye on FOX News.
Marketing the Madness
Commenting on the flag phenomena 6-months after 9/11, Prof. of history, Tom Guglielmo, said,
“I’m not sure I can remember another time in my life when flags were so omnipresent – on lapels, on store windows, on bumpers, on team jerseys, among millions of other places.”
The United States government’s experience and success with September 11, 2001 created the precedent and blueprint for what we are seeing now. I wonder what the equivalent of the White House Iraqi Group (WHIG) in D.C. is called today? Marketing mayhem to the masses is a full-time gig in Washington.
We are told ISIS wants to kill us. Some say an attack is imminent and have said the 13th anniversary of 9/11 is the possible date of such an attack. We’ve been shown ugly video footage of the kind of torture and death ISIS wrought on some of it’s “enemies”, but what and who exactly is ISIS?
I’ll Pass on the Tinfoil
People’s Mojahedin of Iran or the Mojahedin-e-Khalq (MEK) became al-Qaeda and now, ISIS. They are the same organization under a different name. Kind of like how the Project for a New American Century (PNAC) cronies operate.
In the land of government conspiracies where nothing is as it seems it is easy to dive into the nut dish however; conspiracies are real and with the advanced technology and strategies of today, mind games via propaganda pitched by a small few resonate among many. We have seen this before.
It has been almost 13-years since the murderous acts of September 11. We have had no threats of the magnitude of which the ISIS threat is being amplified. The marketing means and methods that were used by the American establishment 13-years ago are being deployed once again and the irony is that so many still fall prey.
Will their propaganda style marketing enable them to accomplish their goals without actually attacking us?
I am not denying the existence of ISIS or terrorism. That would be ridiculous for me to do so. I’m just not in the business of giving them more power than they really have which is what the constant cackling from the media and the White House press secretary does.
