What She Said!

Once in a while a song comes along that stops me dead in my tracks; giving me chills with it’s clarity and message. This is one of those songs. The message imparted by Alicia Keys cannot be put any more beautifully or bluntly than she has put it. 

Regardless of whether your politics are my politics or your religion is my religion or your country is my country … WE are here … for ALL of us … I think we have forgotten that in our quest for technology, oil, power…even water … and worse, each other’s blood.

It is crazy how far away from humanity we have stepped and sadly we are at the cliff. Not just some obscure fiscal cliff dangled in front of us to coerce hysteria, but the cliff on which we precariously stand on; the do or die moment of our souls.

What faces us all in the coming years– and maybe sooner for some of us, is something we too long have looked away from; thinking it was so distant in the future that we had time or that it wouldn’t interfere with us … not us.

We were wrong, but we are here …
