Anson Williams — born Anson William Heimlich, is an actor, director and author. We are most familiar with Anson from his character, Warren “Potsie” Weber on all 11 seasons of America’s much loved classic television show, “Happy Days”.
He has played the same character (Potsie Weber) in four different series: Love, American Style (1969), Happy Days (1974), Laverne & Shirley (1976) and Sabrina, the Teenage Witch (1996). He is also known for his work on, The Secret Life of the American Teenager (2008) and The Cape (1996).
Anson is the author of a new book called, “Singing to a Bulldog: From Happy Days to Hollywood Director, and the Unlikely Mentor Who Got Me There”, which is available on Amazon and has recently finished filming, “Where Are They Now” for the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN).
Anson maintains a Facebook profile and is very active in social media expressing his concern for the word via historical quotes and meaningful sayings. His thoughts and words are always heartfelt and thought-provoking.
FUN FACTOID –> Anson is the cousin of Dr. Henry Heimlich, creator of the “Heimlich maneuver”.
